  • Strength Through Adversity

    Mon 07 Feb 2022

An inspirational time was had by all who listened to Darren today.  He told us about how he had aspired to climb Everest and then due to a climbing accident several years ago his dream was destroyed.  Darren shared how strength can come through adversity and he how he has learned to master Kayaking and complete challenges he could never have dreamt of since he left hospital. We are hoping to follow Darren as he attempts to complete seven marathons over seven continents in October this year.

We can do much more than we can ever think or imagine. Thank you Darren for showing us how you are still able to dream big even with a disability. You have a limitless drive and determination - truly inspirational.

  • Celebrating life at Cockshutt

    Tue 24 Nov 2020 M.Jones

We are delighted to have in place our gift from Dorothy Birch.   Dossy as she was fondly known dedicated her life to the pupils of Cockshutt CE Primary, working in the kitchen her whole life.   She passed away at the beginning of this year and money donated at her funeral was donated to the school, for something long lasting for the children. Dossy had the children at the heart of her life always.

Our children can now join together daily on the playground and enjoy their special seat in loving memory of Dossy
